What a $260 brand actually includes

Nadia Okafor · · 4 min read

People hear the price and assume something is missing. Fair. Here is the whole list, and the honest exclusions.

What you get

  • Two logo directions, each shown on a sign, a card and a phone screen, so you judge it in context rather than on a white page.
  • Two rounds of changes on the direction you pick.
  • A colour palette with exact values for print and screen, checked for readable contrast.
  • A type pairing, using free fonts unless you ask otherwise, so you never pay a licence.
  • An eight-page brand guide that a printer, a sign maker or your nephew can follow.
  • Business card and social avatars, ready to upload.
  • Every file: SVG, PNG, PDF and the source files. Yours to keep.

What it does not include

Printing, photography and trademark registration. We will recommend people for all three. If you need packaging, menus or a full graphic system, that is the Complex package at $440.

Why it costs this much, and not more

Agencies charge for time spent in meetings, decks and handovers between people. We skip those. A senior designer works on your brand start to finish, and five years of doing exactly this means very little time is wasted.
